INVITATION TO ATTEND IN OUR EXCLUSIVELY RELIGIOUS FUNCTION-SHIBPUR SAI TEMPLE.

Sairam dear all,

Long back I had posted a detail article in my temple blog on 100 year old Shirdi Sai Baba temple of Shibpur at West Bengal .Today I have recieved invitation of religious function to be held on 21st April till 25th April at Shibpur Sai temple.Please read the mail below and detail programme of the function .Jai Sai Ram .


Re:-- INVITATION TO ATTEND IN OUR EXCLUSIVELY RELIGIOUS FUNCTION SCHEDULED TO BE HELD AT SHIBPUR SAI TEMPLE ON & FROM 21.04.09 TO 25.04.09.

I,being the Chairman,on behalf of our Society, request the honour of your wholehearted acceptance of invitation to attend in the exclusively religious function scheduled to be held on and from 21st April,09 to 25th April,09 at Shibpur Sai Temple organized by our society,with the conformity of last seven years in which we shall be ever greatful if you please share with us in the function.

PROGRAMME SCHEDULE:--

1. 21.04.09

TUESDAY AT NIGHT INAUGURAL CEREMONY TO BE STARTED BY THE WORSHIP OF LORD SRI SRI SHIRDI SAI BABA.

2. 22.04.09

WEDNESDAY MORNING, NOON, EVENING & NIGHT WITH BHAJAN & KIRTANA IN THE WORSHIP OF SRI SHIRDI SAIBABA WITH THE LORDSHIP OF MAHAYAGGA ALONG WITH MAHARATI OF 1008 NOS. OF TAPPER.

3. 23.04.09

THURSDAY AFTER THE WORSHIP OF SRI SRI SHIRDI SAIBABA IN THE MORNING, NOON, EVENING AND NIGHT ( ANNA MAHOTSAV ) PARTICIPATION IN THE HOLI FESTIVE FEAST BY AT LEAST 18000 LOCAL PEOPLE. WITH AWARENESS PROGRAMME FOR UTILISING VERMI COMPOST IN LIEU OF CHEMICAL FERTILISER TO THE AGRICULTURAL LAND DELIVER VALUABLE SPEECH BY DR. KOUSHIK BRAMHACHARI, READER ,DEPTT. OF AGRONOMY, BIDHAN CHANDRA KRISHI VISWAVIDYALAYA, MOHONPUR DIST. NADIA.

4. 24.04.09

FRIDAY AFTER THE WORSHIP OF SRI SRI SAI SHIRDI SAIBABA IN THE MORNING,NOON, EVENING AND NIGHT, FREE MEDICAL WITH EYE CHECK UP CAMP WITH DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD PACKETS, NUTRITIONAL FOOD AND GIFT FOR CHILDREN, MEDICINE & NUTRITION FOR THE PREGNANT MOTHER.

5. 25.04.09

SATURDAY PROCESSION WITH STATUE OF LORD SRI SHIRDI SAI BABA SURROUNDED BY THOUSANDS OF PARTICIPATED PEOPLE OF THE LOCALITY IN THE ENDING OF THE FESTIVAL. FREE DISTRIBUTION OF STUDY MATIRIALS TO THE POOR STUDENTS BELONGING TO SC/ ST/ MINORITY AND OTHERS.


N.B.:-- ARRANGEMENTS OF PERFORMANCE OF LOCAL FOLK SONGS, SANKIRTAN WITH READING & EXPLANATION OF BHAGBATAM WILL GRACE THE FESTIVAL AS A WHOLE.
